Adult Indications for Use

Spravato® (esketamine) CIII nasal spray is indicated for the treatment of adults with treatment-resistant depression (TRD) and for adults with major depressive disorder (MDD) with acute suicidal ideation or behavior.

Important Safety Information

Spravato® is only available by prescription and must be administered under the supervision of a certified healthcare provider in a certified treatment center. A doctor can help determine if Spravato® is right for you. Patients' results may vary.

Spravato® may cause sedation, dissociation, dizziness, nausea, increased blood pressure, and other side effects. Patients must be monitored for at least two hours after administration. Due to the risk of serious adverse effects, including sedation and dissociation, Spravato® has a Risk Evaluation and Mitigation Strategy (REMS) program to ensure safe use.

Spravato® is not for use as a stand-alone treatment for depression and should always be used in combination with an oral antidepressant. It is not approved for use in pediatric patients.
