Medication Refill Request

We understand that staying on top of your prescriptions is an important part of feeling your best. Our team works carefully to review each refill request to make sure your treatment remains safe, effective, and in line with your provider’s plan.

Refill timing can vary depending on your medication and individual treatment needs. The information below outlines our general refill policy, which helps guide patients and staff — but please remember that it is never a replacement for your provider’s recommendations, clinical judgment, or discretion.

Important Safety Information

Psychiatric medications are only available by prescription and should be taken as directed by a healthcare provider. A provider at NBCG can help determine if medication is right for you. Patients’ responses to medications may vary, and ongoing monitoring is necessary to ensure safety and effectiveness.

Common side effects may include drowsiness, dizziness, nausea, changes in appetite, or mood fluctuations. Some medications carry risks such as dependency, withdrawal symptoms, or rare but serious adverse effects. It is important to discuss all potential risks and benefits with your provider.

Medications for mental health conditions should not be discontinued without consulting a healthcare provider. If you experience severe side effects, worsening symptoms, or thoughts of self-harm, seek immediate medical attention.
