Learning Differences Support in Utah — Build Skills, Confidence & Success
Personalized, evidence-based care that helps students of all ages understand how they learn best — and thrive because of it.
Why Choose NBCG for Learning Support
Learning challenges can affect academic performance, confidence, and motivation — but they don't define a child's potential. Whether it's difficulty with reading, writing, math, attention, memory, or processing, our team is here to identify the root of the challenge and create a clear path forward.
Whether you're searching for a psychological evaluation, behavioral support, or a comprehensive learning plan — we have the right provider for you.
care that's comprehensive and built around you.
Learning challenges don't look the same in any two students. Our treatment doesn't either. We bring together psychologists, therapists, and behavioral specialists to design the path that fits your child's unique learning profile — and we build strategies that promote independence, confidence, and long-term success.
Expert evaluations that go deep
Comprehensive psychological and neuropsychological testing to fully understand each student's learning profile, strengths, and areas of need.
Individualized support tailored to each student
No cookie-cutter plans. We build strategies specific to how your child thinks, learns, and grows — then adapt as they do.
Integration with therapy & behavioral support
Connecting learning support with mental health therapy, behavioral strategies, and academic coaching for a truly holistic approach.
Close family & school collaboration
We work with parents, teachers, and IEP teams — keeping everyone aligned so support is consistent across every environment.
Learning Support We Offer
Psychological & Neuropsychological Testing
A structured, comprehensive way to assess a student's cognitive abilities, learning style, and behavioral patterns. Helps diagnose learning differences like dyslexia, ADHD, and processing disorders — and guides treatment planning. Testing may include interviews, questionnaires, and standardized assessments.
Learn More →Psychiatric Medication Management
For students whose learning differences are connected to ADHD or other conditions, a medical provider prescribes and monitors medications to help manage symptoms. Includes regular check-ins to assess effectiveness and adjust doses as needed.
Learn More →Mental Health Therapy
A supportive process where students and families work with a trained professional to understand and manage the emotional and behavioral challenges that often accompany learning differences — building resilience, coping skills, and confidence.
Learn More →Ready when you are — for testing, therapy, or medication management.

Indications for Treatment
The providers at Neurobehavioral Center for Growth (NBCG) offer medication management for a range of mental health conditions, including but not limited to Major Depressive Disorder (MDD), Generalized Anxiety Disorder (GAD), Attention-Deficit/Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD), Obsessive-Compulsive Disorder (OCD), and Bipolar Disorder. Medications are prescribed based on individual assessments and in conjunction with other therapeutic interventions as needed.
Important Safety Information
Psychiatric medications are only available by prescription and should be taken as directed by a healthcare provider. A provider at NBCG can help determine if medication is right for you. Patients' responses to medications may vary, and ongoing monitoring is necessary to ensure safety and effectiveness.
Common side effects may include drowsiness, dizziness, nausea, changes in appetite, or mood fluctuations. Some medications carry risks such as dependency, withdrawal symptoms, or rare but serious adverse effects. It is important to discuss all potential risks and benefits with your provider.
Medications for mental health conditions should not be discontinued without consulting a healthcare provider. If you experience severe side effects, worsening symptoms, or thoughts of self-harm, seek immediate medical attention.
