Telehealth therapy & psychiatry that comes to you.
Whether you live in Salt Lake City, rural southern Utah, or anywhere in between — NBCG's licensed providers are available via secure video telehealth. No commute. No waiting room. Just real care.
Telehealth — also called online therapy, virtual therapy, or teletherapy — allows you to meet with a licensed mental health provider over a secure, HIPAA-compliant video connection. You join from a smartphone, tablet, or computer, and your session feels just like an in-person appointment.
At NBCG, telehealth is available for two of our most in-demand services: mental health therapy and psychiatric medication management. We've seen firsthand how removing the barrier of travel opens up access to care for patients across Utah — from busy parents in the Salt Lake Valley to adults in rural communities who previously had no local mental health options.
"Our goal is to meet every patient where they are — literally."
Telehealth is appropriate for many conditions including anxiety, depression, ADHD, OCD, and PTSD. A substantial body of clinical research shows it is equally effective as in-person care for most outpatient therapy and medication management needs.
Not sure if telehealth is right for you? Our intake team can help during a free pre-appointment call. Call (801) 683-1062 or request an appointment online.
Two powerful services, now available from anywhere in Utah.
NBCG telehealth is designed for ongoing care — not one-time consultations. We build lasting relationships with our patients, whether virtually or in person.
Online Therapy in Utah
Meet with a licensed therapist, psychologist, or counselor via secure video. NBCG's telehealth therapists are trained in CBT, DBT, EMDR, ACT, and trauma-informed therapy for anxiety, depression, OCD, PTSD, relationship issues, grief, life transitions, and more.
Online Psychiatry in Utah
Meet with a board-certified psychiatric nurse practitioner (PMHNP) or psychiatrist via secure video for medication evaluation, prescription management, and psychiatric follow-up. Covers new patient evaluations, medication adjustments, and ongoing monitoring — all from home.
Advanced treatments including TMS therapy, Spravato (esketamine), and ketamine infusion are clinical procedures that must be completed in person at one of our six Utah clinic locations. Neuropsychological and psychological testing also requires in-person visits. View our locations →

Online therapy and psychiatry may be ideal for you if…
You live far from a clinic
NBCG telehealth reaches every corner of Utah — Logan, St. George, Moab, Vernal, Price, and beyond. If there's no local provider near you, we're here.
Your schedule is demanding
Parents, professionals, students, and caregivers often find that eliminating the commute makes consistent care actually possible for the first time.
You value privacy
Telehealth lets you receive care without bumping into neighbors in a waiting room. Your session is always encrypted and HIPAA-compliant.
Health or mobility limits travel
Chronic illness, disability, postpartum recovery, or temporary illness — telehealth keeps your care continuous when in-person visits aren't feasible.
You're new to therapy
Many patients find it easier to open up from a familiar environment. Starting therapy at home can lower the anxiety barrier to seeking help for the first time.
You need medication management
Routine psychiatric check-ins and medication refills don't always require in-person visits. Our PMHNPs can manage most psychiatric medications via telehealth.
Most major Utah insurance plans cover telehealth mental health visits.
Since 2020, Utah insurance law requires most major payers to cover telehealth services at the same rate as in-person visits. NBCG verifies your benefits before your first session.
Not sure if your plan is covered? Call our intake team at (801) 683-1062 — we'll verify your benefits for free before your first session.
