A Clear Path Forward After Brain Injury
Experience TBI treatment in a structured, supportive, and brain-based environment — with a full care team behind you.
What Is Traumatic Brain Injury Support?
Traumatic Brain Injury (TBI) affects how the brain processes information, regulates emotions, and supports daily functioning. Whether the injury was sudden or accumulated over time, the path to recovery deserves a team that understands both the science of the brain and the human side of healing.
Our evidence-based TBI treatment programs are designed to:
- Improve memory, attention, and executive functioning
- Reduce symptoms like brain fog, irritability, and fatigue
- Strengthen emotional regulation and resilience
- Support recovery after concussions or more severe brain injuries
We tailor each treatment plan to your unique brain, symptoms, and goals — because no two injuries are the same.
the science of recovery — and the heart of it.

TBI Support We Offer
Psychological & Neuropsychological Testing
TBI presentations can mimic or overlap with many other conditions. Through our comprehensive testing, we clarify what's truly driving your symptoms — informing a diagnosis and a personalized treatment plan that actually fits.
Learn More →Medication Management
A medical provider prescribes and monitors medications to help manage cognitive and emotional symptoms after TBI. Regular check-ins assess effectiveness and adjust doses as your recovery evolves.
Learn More →TMS (Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation)
TMS uses targeted magnetic pulses to stimulate underactive areas of the brain involved in mood, attention, and cognition — promoting neuroplasticity. A non-invasive, medication-free option that can ease depression, brain fog, and concentration issues common after TBI.
Learn More →Mental Health Therapy
A supportive process where you work with a trained professional to understand and manage the emotional, behavioral, and psychological challenges that can follow brain injury — improving coping, relationships, and well-being.
Learn More →Ready when you are — for testing, therapy, or medication management.

Indications for Treatment
The providers at Neurobehavioral Center for Growth (NBCG) offer medication management for a range of mental health conditions, including but not limited to Major Depressive Disorder (MDD), Generalized Anxiety Disorder (GAD), Attention-Deficit/Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD), Obsessive-Compulsive Disorder (OCD), and Bipolar Disorder. Medications are prescribed based on individual assessments and in conjunction with other therapeutic interventions as needed.
Important Safety Information
Psychiatric medications are only available by prescription and should be taken as directed by a healthcare provider. A provider at NBCG can help determine if medication is right for you. Patients' responses to medications may vary, and ongoing monitoring is necessary to ensure safety and effectiveness.
Common side effects may include drowsiness, dizziness, nausea, changes in appetite, or mood fluctuations. Some medications carry risks such as dependency, withdrawal symptoms, or rare but serious adverse effects. It is important to discuss all potential risks and benefits with your provider.
Medications for mental health conditions should not be discontinued without consulting a healthcare provider. If you experience severe side effects, worsening symptoms, or thoughts of self-harm, seek immediate medical attention.
