we treat bipolar disorder as the complex condition it is

Why Choose NBCG for Bipolar Treatment?

Bipolar disorder is a mood condition that causes intense changes in energy, mood, and activity levels. These changes can impact your relationships, work, and daily life. We understand that bipolar disorder is not one-size-fits-all — that's why our approach is personalized, adaptive, and integrative, designed to treat the root causes, not just the symptoms.

From traditional therapy to advanced outpatient treatments, we meet you where you are — and walk with you toward where you want to be.
our approach is rooted in

care that's expert-led and adapted to you.

Bipolar disorder doesn't show up the same way in any two people. Our treatment doesn't either. We bring together psychologists, psychiatrists, and board-certified mental health providers to design the path that fits your brain, your symptoms, and your life — and we stay with you every step of the way.

i.

Expert-led, interdisciplinary care

Treatment from psychologists, psychiatrists, and board-certified mental health providers — working together, not in isolation.

ii.

Personalized, holistic plans

Tailored to your unique needs — including therapy, medications, mindfulness, and (when appropriate) advanced outpatient therapies like TMS, Spravato, or ketamine.

iii.

Hands-on support & monitoring

Ongoing care to optimize, integrate, and maximize your treatment and your healing journey.

iv.

Evidence-based, compassionate care

Not just for bipolar — but for whatever else surfaces along the way: anxiety, PTSD, OCD, and more.

Whether you're seeking treatment for the first time or looking for new options after others haven't worked — our team is here to meet you exactly where you are.

Indications for Treatment

The providers at Neurobehavioral Center for Growth (NBCG) offer medication management for a range of mental health conditions, including but not limited to Major Depressive Disorder (MDD), Generalized Anxiety Disorder (GAD), Attention-Deficit/Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD), Obsessive-Compulsive Disorder (OCD), and Bipolar Disorder. Medications are prescribed based on individual assessments and in conjunction with other therapeutic interventions as needed.

Important Safety Information

Psychiatric medications are only available by prescription and should be taken as directed by a healthcare provider. A provider at NBCG can help determine if medication is right for you. Patients' responses to medications may vary, and ongoing monitoring is necessary to ensure safety and effectiveness.

Common side effects may include drowsiness, dizziness, nausea, changes in appetite, or mood fluctuations. Some medications carry risks such as dependency, withdrawal symptoms, or rare but serious adverse effects. It is important to discuss all potential risks and benefits with your provider.

Medications for mental health conditions should not be discontinued without consulting a healthcare provider. If you experience severe side effects, worsening symptoms, or thoughts of self-harm, seek immediate medical attention.
