Testing may include interviews, questionnaires, and standardized tests.
-
Psychiatric medication managementinvolves a medical provider prescribing and monitoring medications to help manage mental health symptoms.
It includes regular check-ins to assess effectiveness and adjust doses if needed.
-
Mental health therapy is a supportive process where individuals work with a trained professional to understand and manage emotional, behavioral, or psychological challenges.
It can help improve coping skills, relationships, and overall well-being.
-
ABA therapy is an evidence-based approach that helps individuals build meaningful skills and reduce behaviors that interfere with daily life.
ABA can support:
Communication and language development
Social interaction and play skills
Daily living and independence
Emotional regulation and coping skills
-
Speech therapy supports communication at all levels—from early language development to social communication skills.
This may include:
Expressive and receptive language
Nonverbal communication
Social pragmatics (conversation skills, turn-taking, etc.)
-
Occupational therapy helps individuals with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) build everyday skills like self-care, social interaction, and managing sensory sensitivities. It supports independence and helps them function more comfortably at home, school, and in the community.

The providers at Neurobehavioral Center for Growth (NBCG) offer medication management for a range of mental health conditions, including but not limited to Major Depressive Disorder (MDD), Generalized Anxiety Disorder (GAD), Attention-Deficit/Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD), Obsessive-Compulsive Disorder (OCD), and Bipolar Disorder. Important Safety Information
Psychiatric medications are only available by prescription and should be taken as directed by a healthcare provider. A provider at NBCG can help determine if medication is right for you. Patients’ responses to medications may vary, and ongoing monitoring is necessary to ensure safety and effectiveness.
Common side effects may include drowsiness, dizziness, nausea, changes in appetite, or mood fluctuations. Some medications carry risks such as dependency, withdrawal symptoms, or rare but serious adverse effects. It is important to discuss all potential risks and benefits with your provider.
Medications for mental health conditions should not be discontinued without consulting a healthcare provider. If you experience severe side effects, worsening symptoms, or thoughts of self-harm, seek immediate medical attention.
