ABA therapy is science-based therapy focused on modifying behavioral and communication needs to help your child succeed in the world and meet their goals.
How ABA Therapy Works
Step 1: Our behavioral therapist will meet with you to learn about your child and family's needs. They then create a treatment plan that supports your goals.
Step 2: We will work with you to confirm that your insurance approves ABA services. If your insurance approves treatment, we will work with you to set up a weekly therapy schedule.
Step 3: Your child and family will learn skills, techniques and principles that support lifelong changes in your child's behaviors and communication abilities.
Treatment Plan: Most plans involve multiple weekly sessions based on individual goals.
Insurance Accepted: Many private insurers, plus Medicaid.
Program Expectations
Our program focuses on treating Tier 2 and Tier 3 clients, which means this is a moderately intensive ABA program.
Our program works with clients ages 2 - 18, openings vary by client's availability.
Each session is generally 3 hours, sometimes shorter or longer depending on family and staff availability.
ABA clients must receive 15 hours of ABA therapy a week in order to enroll in our program. We will work with you to find a way to meet that hour requirement within your family's unique needs.
Parent trainings and on-going education is key for your child's long-term success. Our program requires parents to meet with their behavioral therapist to learn skills and techniques to support your child's ABA goals.
Consistent attendance is required for our staff and we ask the same of our ABA families. ABA is most effective when it's reliably consistent. If your family isn't able to commit to a set schedule, our program may not be the best fit. Please contact us to ask any questions you have about the attendance policy.
