we treat autism as the complex, individual experience it is

Why Choose NBCG for Autism Care?

Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) is not one-size-fits-all — and neither is our approach. Whether you're seeking support for a child, teen, or adult, our team provides individualized care designed to help each person thrive in their own unique way.

We continuously adapt care plans to support development, independence, and quality of life — for each person, at every stage.
our approach is rooted in

care that's interdisciplinary and adapted to you.

ASD doesn't show up the same way in any two people. Our treatment doesn't either. We bring together psychologists, board-certified behavioral analysts, speech therapists, occupational therapists, and psychiatric providers — working as one connected team.

i.

Expert-led, collaborative team

Psychologists, BCBAs, speech therapists, occupational therapists, and psychiatric providers collaborating as one team — not in isolation.

ii.

Comprehensive, personalized services

Services may include ABA therapy, speech therapy, social skills training, parent coaching, and medication management when appropriate.

iii.

Adaptive, evolving care plans

We continuously adapt care plans to support development, independence, and quality of life at every stage of growth.

iv.

Addressing co-occurring challenges

We also address ADHD, anxiety, sensory sensitivities, and emotional regulation difficulties that commonly occur alongside ASD.

Indications for Treatment

The providers at Neurobehavioral Center for Growth (NBCG) offer medication management for a range of mental health conditions, including but not limited to Major Depressive Disorder (MDD), Generalized Anxiety Disorder (GAD), Attention-Deficit/Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD), Obsessive-Compulsive Disorder (OCD), and Bipolar Disorder. Medications are prescribed based on individual assessments and in conjunction with other therapeutic interventions as needed.

Important Safety Information

Psychiatric medications are only available by prescription and should be taken as directed by a healthcare provider. A provider at NBCG can help determine if medication is right for you. Patients' responses to medications may vary, and ongoing monitoring is necessary to ensure safety and effectiveness.

Common side effects may include drowsiness, dizziness, nausea, changes in appetite, or mood fluctuations. Some medications carry risks such as dependency, withdrawal symptoms, or rare but serious adverse effects. It is important to discuss all potential risks and benefits with your provider.

Medications for mental health conditions should not be discontinued without consulting a healthcare provider. If you experience severe side effects, worsening symptoms, or thoughts of self-harm, seek immediate medical attention.
