Lyndee Gubler, CSW, MSW
Lyndee received her Master's of Social Work from New York University in 2009. There she experienced working in an inner-city school doing school social work and at an outpatient drug and substance abuse clinic. She has extensive work as a school social worker, including working with children with many different disorders and eligibilities. Working primarily with children with IEP's, understands and advocates for the needs of accommodations, behavior plans and other services the school may provide. She is trained to work with disruptive and mood disorders, RAD, trauma, abandonment, divorce and grief/loss. She believes strongly in working collaboratively as a team with the child, parent, teachers, administrators, and clinicians. She adapts a behavior modification, motivational interviewing and at times needed a direct feedback approach. She loves working with adults as well and has a strong passion for women issues, trauma and grief/loss. She has worked with addictions in the outpatient clinic during her graduate work as well as with teenagers doing therapy in Residential Treatment Centers.
