Dina Hargrave, LCMHC
Dina is a Georgia native who began her mental health career 12 years ago as an education consultant. Dina graduated from Utah State University with her Master's of Psychology and then earned her Education Specialist degree. Dina works with children, teens and young adults (and their families) ages 3-25, specializing in assessment and research based therapies. Dina believes that psychological testing can be an effective means to identify strengths and weaknesses, needs and goals, and to monitor change. Dina uses a holistic approach to wellness, integrating treatment by connecting families, schools, and community service providers. She has extensive expertise in advocating for children and teens who need support (special instruction etc.) through the school system. The focus of her therapy (Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, Mindfullnes, Psycho Educational approaches) includes clients who experience, anxiety and depression, executive functioning skill deficits ,struggles with family relationships (including parenting) and learning disabilities. Dina also advocates for and works with LGBTQ clients.
